The DIH4CPS project is a 3-year project funded by the Horizon2020 programme of the European Union. The initiative for Fostering DIHs for Embedding Interoperability in Cyber-Physical Systems of European SMEs will create an embracing, interdisciplinary network of DIHs and solution providers, focussed on cyber-physical and embedded systems, interweaving knowledge and technologies from different domains, and connecting regional clusters with the pan-European expert pool of DIHs.
The DIH4CPS consortium consists of 13 DIHs from 9 countries in all regions of Europe which all have a strong regional foundation and are role models for the transfer of research results into the industrial practice of regional SMEs and MidCaps
Role LuxMobility
LuxMobility will lead one of the Initial Application Experiments, which will implement a decision support system, a webtool that would allow public and private actors to monitor the emissions over time in a specific area using a network of crowd-sourced sensors . Based on the collected information of the air composition, recommendations related to mobility behaviour will be provided to the different clients.
Public and private authorities as well as individual citizens are more and more aware of the possibly degrading environment and are willing to know the air composition in their specific area and neighborhoods. It is important for them to monitor emissions and to know how they contribute to the different emissions as well as how they can reduce them.
